Shattuckite (the stone of 'truth) is a mix of Azurite, Chrysocolla, Malachite, and sometimes Copper (Cuperite) in quartz. It is an uncommon copper mineral that is highly regarded for its vivid blue color. Most available specimens are very small to about 1 to 2”. Large cabinet displays are highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
This rare copper mineral has only been found in two locations: Bisbee, Arizona (which has been depleted) & Namibia, Africa. With the only source still sparingly available in the Congo, these larger quality specimens are quite difficult to find.
